the road system will be the skeleton (Xue et al.  2011, 220), and each street will be the bone.
Other formations (i.e., buildings, statues) will be the cells.

Using Google Maps, the figure above illustrates Dong Khoi Street and Ton Duc Thang Street in Saigon as two bones whereas the orange cells are drawn to represent some examples of formations; that is, two bigger cells represent the existence of two analyzed statues (i.e., The Saint of Tran Hung Dao and Our Lady of Peace).
