Description
The Telegraph is an invention for far-distance communication which started in the early 19th century when electricity was also first used by the Italian physicist Alessandro Volta. The telegraph is constructed through "five magnetic needles that could be pointed around a panel of letters and numbers by using an electric current". With this invention, the telegraph attracted users who wanted to have a more convenient way to send out messages and receive them. This idea traveled across the world, but more extensively was used in Europe in the later 19th century
