Additional Building (1970)
Dublin Core
Title
Additional Building (1970)
Description
The additional building was designed by Nguyen Ba Lang – a local architecture, on an area of 1,000 square meters behind the original building. Its construction was finished within the year of 1970.
The designer tried to resemble and harmonize with the predecessor's original design in terms of patterns, materials, color, etc. However, it still carries a glimpse of the modernism architecture prevailing in the South of Vietnam at that time. One example is the parabet with rough cement surface.
