Do Thi Minh Han

I am a Social Studies and Psychology student, having always prided myself on being a Saigonese. I have a particular affinity for the city of Saigon, from its architectural beauty to all the people who have constructed and contributed to its magnificence.

Urban studies have piqued my interest since the engagement with the course "Augustus in Saigon!? Reviewing and Reframing Classicized Urban Space in Ho Chi Minh City" in 2022. During the course, I seized on the opportunity to attentively observe a variety of French-influenced buildings within Saigon, and relished the chance to conscientiously reflect on my observations, then to delicately compose a page on A Fluid Identity of Saigon Opera House.

Urban spaces are of my interest in general, especially how their design determines the way their targeted citizens use and interact. A project, in which I am currently take part, on this matter is underway.
